Meredith's School Birthday

We celebrated Meredith's 3rd birthday at Mother's Day Out last Friday.  Her birthday is not until July 2nd but the school is celebrating summer birthdays this month.  She got a fancy crown that had her name in glitter and we took bright pink cupcakes to share with her friends.

She kept asking us if it was her real birthday.  I think she was looking for her presents!  Telling her that her actual birthday is in July does not mean much to a 2 year old.  Her birthday party is May 26th because the baby will be here around her real birthday.  She will enjoy celebrating her birthday three times this year.  It will be the summer of Meredith!

Easter and Paci Fairy

First, let me start by saying that I am so excited because I have my very first blog follower!  Thank you Gigi!!!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Mom and Barry spent the weekend with us which was great.  Meredith loves having them stay with us and so do we. Saturday night Kyle, Meredith and I had dinner with friends which was a lot of fun.  Sunday morning Kyle, Meredith and I went to church with Gigi and Aunt Mo Mo.  Meredith spent most of the church service playing with Aunt Mo Mo's cool jewelry!  After church Granna and Papa came over to have lunch with Mimi Poppy and us.  Meredith had a great time hunting eggs with them.  Later that day we went to G'Daddy and Gigi's house for dinner and more egg hunting.  Needless to say Meredith (and Kyle and me) had a wonderful Easter!

It is so fun to have candy first thing in the morning.  Do you like the crazy hair?  The hair is how every morning starts!

Paci Fairy!

Friday night the Paci Fairy came to our house.  She took Meredith's pacifiers while she was sleep and let gifts for her.  For those of you who are not familiar with the paci Fairy let me tell you how she works.  When she decides that you are too big for a paci she comes in the night and takes the paci.  She then gives your paci to a baby that needs it.  In return she leaves you cool gifts.  The gifts have to be special so the child does not want to give them back for her paci.  Meredith got golf clubs and a mini DVD player to watch movies on.  She was very excited about her gifts and she has only asked for her paci a few times.  She is doing great.  What a big girl!
