Meredith loves gymnastics. She takes a class at the Little Gym once a week. During the school year we took a "Mommy and Me" class which was a lot of fun. This summer she is taking a Saturday morning class with Kyle. I have watched them the past two Saturdays. I'm not sure who has more fun running and playing, Meredith or Kyle!
At the end of the Spring session there was a gymnastics show. G' Daddy came to watch which made Meredith very happy. Here she is warming up.
One of her favorite things is the bars. She can hang like a monkey for a long time! The best thing about having G' Daddy there was when he pointed out that Meredith is much better at the bars then all of the other two and a half year olds! You have to love grandparents and their non bias points of view!
At the end every child was called up to do a forward roll and then a monkey jump. Everyone clapped and then the child got a ribbon. While she might not be ready for the Olympics just yet, she can do an excellent forward roll!
We had Meredith's birthday party the other week. Her actual birthday is just two weeks before the baby is due so we had her party early this year. The party was at Noah's Ark Pool which is an awesome pool for kids. There were about 55 people there. Meredith had a great time. Kyle and I had a great time as well. Her last two birthday parties have been at the house. They were fun, but a little more stressful for us. All we had to do for this party was bring cupcakes and drinks and order pizza. It was great!
It is hard for me to believe that Meredith is already three. Here is my sweet baby when she was just one month old.
